Tarifa is the southernmost point of mainland Europe, a small whitewashed Moorish town on the Strait of Gibraltar where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet — and where the wind blows reliably enough to make it the global capital of kitesurfing. The nomad scene here is deliberately lifestyle-driven: Tarifa attracts remote workers who want to learn or practice watersports alongside their work, and the coliving and coworking infrastructure has grown to match.
